HAMBURRG ACTIVE SUMMER 

Aloha lovely shredding monsters,

Big news to share: we have been invited by Sportplatz GmbH to participate in the Active Summer 2023 in order to represent surfskating in Hamburg. The Active Summer is supported by the city of Hamburg and is aimed at all Hamburg citizens who want to try out new sports and get to know them in the period from July 1 to September 30. The organizers aim to promote the portfolio and diversity of movement in Hamburg with the Active Summer.

The Active City Day on 16.06. is the official kick-off of the Active Summer and will take place at Jungfernstieg (Alex). The Active City Festival is the highlight and will take place on 9.9. from 10:00-18:00 in the Inselpark. At the Festival-Day we have the opportunity to stage a small booth for our community at the skatepark, to show the 16.000 visitors the first steps of surfskating and to present our community with a 10-15 min show performance (incl. DJ Fin & Stanley) in the bowl in front of the audience, as well as to share a historical background of the community on stage.

We see the event as a great opportunity to grow our passion as well as our community and want to invite Surfskate NRW, Berlin as well as the Social Surfclub to the Active Festival to create even more synergies and grow together. Of course we need your support - it will only work with you!
